## Points Leaderboard

Compete with traders globally on PulseTrader's **Points Leaderboard**—a competitive ranking system that rewards trading activity and community building. Track your position, climb the ranks, and see how you stack up against the best traders on the platform.

### 🏆 **What is the Points Leaderboard?**

The Points Leaderboard is PulseTrader's **competitive ranking system** that ranks all traders based on their cumulative points earned through:

* **Trading Activity**: XP earned from executing trading signals
* **Referral Rewards**: Bonus points for bringing new traders to the platform
* **Community Contribution**: Building and growing the PulseTrader ecosystem

Unlike a simple scoreboard, the leaderboard provides:

* **Real-Time Rankings**: Live updates as traders earn points
* **Time-Based Views**: Compare performance across different timeframes
* **Transparent Metrics**: See exactly how points are calculated
* **Competitive Motivation**: Drive to improve and climb the rankings

At the top of the leaderboard, view your personal performance metrics:

**Total Points**

* Your cumulative points across all activities
* Includes trading XP + referral bonuses
* Primary metric used for ranking

**Rank**

* Your current position on the leaderboard
* Updates in real-time as you earn points
* Shown as "#6" in the example screenshot

**Total Referrals**

* Count of traders you've referred to the platform
* All tiers included (direct + indirect referrals)
* Contributes to overall point total

**Referral Points**

* Bonus points earned from referrals
* Calculated as: 100 XP per referral
* Separate from trading activity points

### 🎯 **How Points are Earned**

#### **Trading Activity Points**

Points are based on **XP earned** from executing trading signals:

**Signal Execution**

* Execute any trading signal → Earn XP
* XP directly contributes to leaderboard points
* More signals executed = more points

**Strategy Performance**

* All strategies count equally (Q-XTrend, Q-Pulse, Q-Mean)
* Signal execution is the primary point driver
* Trade outcome doesn't affect XP earned

#### **Referral Points**

Bonus points for growing the community:

**Direct Referrals** (Tier 1)

* Refer a trader who joins the platform
* Earn **100 XP bonus** per referral
* Counts immediately upon successful registration

**Indirect Referrals** (Tiers 2 & 3)

* Points from referrals of your referrals
* Multi-level tracking up to 3 tiers deep

* Complete historical ranking since account creation
* Shows total accumulated points ever

#### **Last Week**

* Points earned in the past 7 days only

* Highlights recent active traders

* Points earned in the past 30 days

* Balances consistency with recency

* **All Time**: See who the platform veterans are
* **Last Week**: Find the most active current traders
* **Last Month**: Identify sustained performers

The main leaderboard displays:

* Shows first 6 and last 4 characters only
* Maintains privacy while allowing verification
